Dangote Quay Lekki – Bravo (DRJ)

At Ranjy Construction & Foundation Limited, we worked on the design and construction of the Dangote RoRo Jetty, along with the installation of Secant Piles Wall as a retaining wall, Dead Anchored Piles and Bearing Piles, Fenders & Bollards system and 1 Mooring Dolphin for the Roro Jetty.

The Dangote Quay Lekki – Bravo is 250 meters long with an 8-meter draft designed with concrete Secant Piles of 1.5 meters and a 1.2-meter diameter. The Secant pile wall, which is one of the best construction methods for deep excavations, was designed for the Jetty using bored piling method as a retaining wall system.

The jetty was built with both Roll-On/Roll-off and Lift-on/Lift-off capabilities, including quaysides and ramps capable of handling heavy project cargoes. It handled the world’s heaviest single piece of steel in the refining business: a 3,000 MTs single piece including its stool weight.

This project used 22000 cubic meters of concrete, 2500 tons of reinforcement, and 2 rigs. Completed in 9 months, the Dangote Quay Leeki – Bravo (DRJ) is a humble example of the excellent service, unparalleled skill, and refined finishing our team of experts always offers.
