Ranjy Construction & Foundation Limited worked on the installation of secant pile wall at the Northern Canal Entrance to link Island Canal to the open ocean water and at the same time to provide a discharging jetty.
The jetty itself is 167 meters long with a 5 meter draft designed with concrete Secant Piles and Bored piles of 1.5 meters and a 1 meter diameter. Our team also worked on constructing a Secant Pile Wall, which is one of the best construction methods for deep excavations. It was designed for the Jetty using bored piling method as a retaining wall system.
Utilizing 6,306 cubic meters of concrete, 995 tons of reinforcement, and 2 rigs, this project took 4 months to complete entirely, resulting in a flawless finish and effortless design.
